Dr. N. Janardhan is a political analyst based in the United Arab Emirates since 2000. As Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Gulf Studies, University of Exeter, he is also Managing Assistant Editor of Journal of Arabian Studies (Routledge). After obtaining his PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, he was Programme Manager, Gulf-Asia Relations, and Editor, ‘Gulf in the Media’, at Gulf Research Center, Dubai. He is a regular contributor to various newspapers and websites in the Middle East, as well as international academic publications.
