Chinnu S. Nair was born in Punalur and completed her schooling in the same town with consistently high academic record. She realized her flair for languages very early in her life and continued her education pursing that line. She did her Bachelors and Masters in Malayalam Literature from University of Kerala at its premier campus at Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram. She completed her post Graduate studies as one of the toppers in her batch. Her Dissertation Topic was on Deconstruction – (Apanirmanam) and looks at Deconstruction as an approach to understanding the relationship between text and meaning.
She has a predilection in Malayalam literature spanning to the core levels of the language where poetry and Prose comes naturally to her. Her research aptitude mainly focuses on Malayalam language origin novels where her interests and experiences co-align. She teaches Malayalam prose and Poetry with passion and students benefits immensely by her deep knowledge combined with friendly and approachable nature.
